How Does it Work?

Our Women’s Health Physios have extensive training and worked with many clients gaining invaluable experience in assessing and treating conditions with the Pelvic Floor.

A Full Assessment will first take place which will include a Pelvic Ultrasound.   Ideally it will also include an Internal Pelvic Floor Examination to give more insight into what is happening with your Pelvic Floor and what could be causing the symptoms.  This Internal Exam is valuable in confirming whether your symptoms are a result of your Pelvic Floor being weak or overactive & tight as well as being able to check a number of other factors.   If you do not feel comfortable with having an Internal Exam no problem just let us know – there are other External Checks that can be done.

This Assessment can be done anytime during Pregnancy and recommended at the 6-8 week time after birth but can be anytime after birth – weeks, months even years!

The Right Treatments depending on the findings of the Assessment will be recommended for you.  These treatments can include Manual Release, Biofeedback, Massage, Supports, Advice and Teaching of Effective Exercises.  We can provide our own Online Exercises to help with strengthening or relaxing the Pelvic Floor which can be practiced at home.


The First Appointment is 1 Hour and is Crucial as it helps to Work out causes of YOUR Issues with a Full Assessment.  Then the Right Treatments can be recommended to help you reach you goals.

Prices of our treatments below but you do not have to make any decisions until the Assessment has been finished.  Your Physiotherapist will then discuss with you their findings and recommend the appropriate treatments and a plan of treatment.  The treatment can be started in this Initial Appointment

Had postpartum physio as I had DR after having my first born in 2021. The techniques taught during the physio were useful and I am back again to using the app to help resolve the DR and mummy tummy after having my 2nd baby. Thanks for providing an easy and convenient way for us to follow the program! 😊 Update: I returned for musculpting and training with Megha! I had hit a plateau in improvement and I wanted faster results. Made the right decision, as my DR had reduced to only 1 finger gap at belly button and fully closed at the upper and lower sections.
