What happens when I see a nutritional therapist?
They will take you through a consultation which will ask questions about your lifestyle, diet, any medical conditions, medical history or family medical history. They can offer food intolerance and allergy tests which will help to devise the programme they recommend for you. They often will prescribe safe does of natural supplements such as probiotics or vitamins to help symptoms or optimise digestion. The number of times you need to see them depends on the person but they should be able to give you an outlook on a programme and how long it will need to go on for after the first consultation.
